Behind the fairy door...
My name is Bianca (she/they) and I have been professionally bringing magic to birthday parties and celebrations since 2014. From running wild disco parties for primary schools, to twirling in a princess dress, combined with performing on stage for many, many years, I have perfected the best way to keep kids (and kids-at-heart) engaged in all sorts of entertainment styles. There is something wonderful in connecting to our playful side, and there is no better way to do that than creating special memories for families.
Something that I noticed over the years while working at different birthday parties was a lack of personalisation. This is something very near and dear to my heart. Every child is like a flower: different and special in their own way, and they deserve to be celebrated for who they are with as much excitement as possible! This is why WonderSpark Parties was born - to allow myself to invest time and energy into making every person feel special and celebrated. When booking in your party, please say their favourite song, their favourite colour, anything that would make their day more special as I would love to personally tailor the booking around them with these small but special elements.
On top of wanting to add magic to people's lives, I also wanted to offer my services to those that may not be able to access the usual kid's party services, so I started studying a Diploma of Auslan at Melbourne Polytechnic back in 2023 and intend to finish it midway through 2025 where I will hopefully go on to become an interpreter.
As a neurodivergent, queer person myself, I also wanted to create a business that was designed with those in mind that may navigate the world a little differently to how society expects us, and make space to allow these children to shine as their most genuine selves and have fun the way that suits them, may that be with softer music, room to move around and stim, or just take things slower to allow them to build up confidence and comfort within a new (and sometimes overwhelming) environment.
At the end of the day, I am incredibly passionate about adding magic to people's lives where ever may be possible, and perhaps even spark a little bit of wonder along the way ;)
